Integrated Awareness, Empowered Movement
A 3-Day Yoga Training for EveryBODY

Join me in a yoga experience designed to make your practice accessible. Whether you're a yoga teacher or a yoga enthusiast seeking alternatives to traditional asana, this workshop provides a cutting edge perspective on accessible yoga.

Combining my thorough understanding of and education in physiology, biomechanics, and anatomy, my unique perspective breaks away from the usual practice of propping and adjusting to modify poses. Instead, I teach a creative method of moving that requires no "modifications", yet is still attainable for every ability and body. 

This weekend is designed to provide you with the skills to practice and move out of pain, improve flexibility, build strength, and participate fully in your life with confidence and ease. My approach is inclusive of all bodies. The practice that I teach empowers people to build their own flexibility and strength in a progressive way. It's about moving your body today and beginning to learn sustainable healthy movements from wherever you are (on and off the yoga mat). ​ ​​
Come prepared to share, listen, learn, and move.

Workshop Schedule

FRIDAY

​5:00 - 5:30 p.m.: Opening/welcome  
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.: Participate in a yoga practice that is truly designed for every body.
6:30 - 6:15 p.m.: BREAK
6:45 - 8:30 p.m.: An introduction to mindfulness and the principles of functional movement.

3.0 CEs for yoga teachers taking part in the workshop who are registered with The Yoga Alliance.

SATURDAY

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.9am-6pm: 
11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.: Through discussion, demonstration, and practice, we will 
12:45 - 1:15 p.m.:After a morning of movement,
we'll delve deeply into understanding the principles of functional movement through discussion, demo, and practice.
In the afternoon, we will build a program together towards a peak pose and start to become familiar with designing our practice to support yoga asana goals.
We will cement the concepts of individual alignment and personal progression that can be adapted to meet individual needs.
The day will conclude with a mindful Restorative Yoga practice. 

12:30-2pm: Lunch (breaks will be taken throughout, as needed).


5CEUs (for those taking part in the workshop who are registered with The Yoga Alliance).

SUNDAY

9am-12:30pm: We'll start our day moving, then strip away the mystery and misconceptions associated with meditation. To wrap-up our time together, the workshop will be tailored to your needs. We'll ask questions, share experiences, and create a plan for taking what we learned this weekend home to our own practice and, of applicable, for our students.
